Required procedures

The document must be submitted by the signatory in person to the civil status officers.

Required documents

Signature legalization is carried out upon presentation of one of the following official documents:

  • National identity card
  • Identity card for foreigners issued by the National Security Authority
  • Passport

The signature must be personal and made in the presence of a civil status officer

Note

  • Signature legalization is prohibited for documents that violate public morals or public order
  • Administrative documents submitted by State services, local authorities, or public administrative institutions are exempt from fees
